How to Create Anchor Text
Getting links with anchor text as the keyword will go a long way to improve your search engine rankings.
To prove this to your self, type in “click here” in a Google search box and see what web site is #1. Adobe. Why? Because a million web sites tell you that you need Flash or Adobe Reader to use content on their page.
“To get the latest version of Flash, please click here.”
With so many web sites using “click here” to indentify with www.adobe.com, Google has no choice to associate the term click here with Adobe. Look who comes in second. Probably Apple. Keep going down the list and notice that mostly they are all popular sites that get referenced for one thing or the other and they do so by “clicking here”.
Anchor text works. Just be sure you know what term(s) you want to rank for before you get a bunch of links pointing to your site.
